The Old Madras Baking Company was a collaborative effort with Tricycl design. It is a small cosy retail patisserie also catering freshly baked breads, gourmet cooking items and cold cuts. Located on the bustling TTK Road in Chennai, the space also tucks away a tiny cafe with short eats and coffees served to customers.

 

The wood clad facade was created to inspire a welcoming, warm-bread feeling from the store space. The interiors were kept basic and rustic. Wood and wood panelling was used for most of the interior elements to give it a cozy atmosphere. Apart from that basic seating elements reflect the makeshift cafe's rustic look.
