This project was taken up as a 3-week challenge for design and execution of a model apartment for Akshaya Builders on OMR in Chennai.

We sought a complete rethink of design and build for a 3 bedroom apartment. All of the designs were conceived as knock-down assembly pieces - to be made in a workshop and assembled on site in batches. The fixed furniture and interior works were first tackled and made ready on site for the remainder of the knock down furniture fitments to be done.

The house consists of 2 main bedrooms, 1 kids bedroom, a small entertainment and study room, an open kitchen, dining and living space. A compact yet budget luxury apartment was therefore designed and executed on an extremely tight schedule.
