This site was developed for DRA Builders, who were foraying into the Chennai realty market and needed a site office and model apartment to be built for it.

An independent plot of land was allocated for this purpose and an integrated office space with a landscaped area was to be made. The challenge was to raise the structure and develop the interiors within a span of 3 months. Hence the shell was kept as a fairly cuboidal space with a simple assembly of glass and sections with a roof.

 

The office space was kept informal with just discussion areas and a lounging space. The interiors of the apartment were conceptualized to give a contemporary look with a modest budget. The space was optimized for every activity and requirement despite its compact nature. The design of the rooms creates a perception of a larger and more open space.
